Question: My daughter's neck is twitching!?
my daughter is ten years old!. about 3 days ago i noticed she had started twitching her head!. i thought for a while she was playing around but after the second day i started to get after her telling her to stop!. she felt bad and told me she would try!. try!? she wasn't faking!. i'm worried!. should she see a doctor or will it go away by itself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible that this is just a muscle twitch (spasm) much like your eyelid will do at times and can sometimes last for DAYS!!! This is usually caused due to stress or lack of sleep!. A 10 year old should not be stressed, so sit here down and talk to her and also make sure whe has been sleeping ok!. Also, make sure she didn't injury herself in even some small way!. If it doesn't get better soon, then yes, take her to the doctor just to be sure it's not something more!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ok, is it just her neck like a muscle spasm or is her whole head twitching!? If it's just a part of her neck she might have slept on it wrong and has a pinched nerve!. this can cause twitching in the neck!. As well as a muscle spasming!. If her whole head is twitching that's a whole other thing altogether!. I wouldn't be sure what to call that!. Either way I would see a doctor!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

SEE A DOCTOR, what if it leads to something thats causing her head to hurt!. Make sure she doesnt move her neck alot and make sure she is eating the right food!Www@Answer-Health@Com
