The right side of my knee is hurting?!

Question: The right side of my knee is hurting!?
A week ago, I was hit with a knee on knee in hockey, and it was painful at the time, but I was able to finish the game, the rest of the week was uncomfortable, but pain-free for my knee!. But just yesterday, when I started jogging, the pain in the right side of my right knee was very painful, almost a half hour after my jog was over, the pain was gone!. It seems that every time I put a bit of movement into my right leg, my knee is hurting and I am forced to limp!. The pain is far from excruciating, but I still can't play hockey on it the way it is right now!. I have a game in 3 days, could I maybe make it if I go easy on my leg!? If it is risking my knee then its not worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went to the doctor and got x rays!. if you get them done and the doctor will tell you whats best!. with mine i have to see the bone doctor and she must be really good because its a 7 week wait!. if you need to wait to get into any doctor the just rest it and try to stay away from any PE!. im an ex football player that had a plethora of knee issues and its sounds like a torn tendon to me!.!.!. right side of the knee runs down on the side of the kneecap!? i know a torn tendon sounds serious but judging from your pain level its probably just a micro tear problem is they can take a bit to heal and you will seriously delay healing time if you continue to exercise on it and your doctor may slap you in a leg immobilizer until it heals!. but that's just what i know from personal experience go see a sports medicine doctor Www@Answer-Health@Com
