Question: Will squinting make my eyesight worse!?
i have really bad vision and im 15 years old!. i always squint cause i cant ever see anything even with my glasses!.
please dont say anything about me needing new glasses or i should get contact or whatever!. i know!. i just want to know if squinting will make my eyesight worse cause my orthadontist told me that!.!.
please help me out!?!?

I don't know that I'd trust an orthodontist with anything eye related, they are dental doctors!.
And I know you don't want to hear it, but you need a stronger prescription!. Don't feel bad, I know how you feel!. My vision was so bad that I needed glasses in third grade at the age of 7!. By the time I was 12, my vision had deteriorated so badly that I needed bifocals to be able to see!. Finally, around the age of 15, I grew out of the bifocals and could finally go back to normal glasses!. You definitely need to see your optometrist about getting a stronger prescription in your glasses!. There should be no reason that you're squinting with your glasses on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know if squinting will affect your vision, but insufficient light probably is bad for your eyesight!. Some latest research suggests that children who spend too much time indoors with artificial light are much more likely to develop vision problems, including myopia!.
