Do I need stitches if it's been 4 days since I busted my head open?!

Question: Do I need stitches if it's been 4 days since I busted my head open!?
I jumped out of a moving car (15 mph maybe) 4 days ago and I busted my head open!. It was bleeding but not SO much!. I checked today and the cut is only about an inch long but still open!. What's the worst that can happen if I don't get stitches right away!? I've just been putting a bandage on it, and I have a headache all day long!. When I sit and then stand, my head feels even worst!. When I sneeze it feels like my head is about to explode!.
Will I be allright!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
With the laceration, you will get a massive scar!. The docs may not be able to suture, but they may be able to glue the wound!.

As for your other symptoms, as this injury happened 4 days ago, and looking at your mechanism of injury, I would suggest attending your local ED and getting an xray and or a head CT scan!.

This may find a fracture in your skull or even worse you may have a bleed on your brain causing these symptoms!.

As a side note for everyone else: ALL head injuries are a medical emergency!. At the least, you can get concussion, at worst you may need emergency surgery to alleviate pressure on the brain from bleeding - a life threatening emergency!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You most likley will be alright!. However with head injuries there are always serious risks!. The safests smartest and best thing to do is see your doctor!. Any doctor!. They need to examine you and then be able to say for sure whats up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be too late too get stitches, the wound is dry now, skin has tightened!. Maybe not though, I'm not a doctor!.

Get it checked out!. If they can't do stitches!.!. I'm sure there's something they can do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to get it stitched or you'll have a big scar!.
