Question: I think i may have broken my hand!. what do you think i should do!?
i was waling my dog, and tripped, and fell on it in a funny way!. i can't put my had in a fist or move my fingers much!. it is quite swollen and bruisedand it really hurts especially when something touches it really lightly!. do you think it could be broken!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I broke my hand a year ago!. I had instantaneous swelling and an enormous amount of pain!. I did not have any bruising and I could move my hand and fingers!. A day later it hurt every now and then, but not too badly so I thought it was fine!.!.!.It wasn't until four days later that the swelling went down and I could see the bone was cracked - My metacarpal was badly fractured!. My point is, everyone will have different symptoms!.!.!.
If your hand became swollen right after your fall, and since there is bruising, I would definitely go to the hospital and get and x-ray!. It doesn't take long - I was in and out of the ER in an hour on a Friday night!. It's better to get it checked out right away!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
