A question about Sleep.?!


Question: A question about Sleep!.!?
Is it true if you do not get enough sleep, your body will look pale and by the age (Let say 50), you will look like death!? When I say death, I mean crappy looking!.

Or is that an old wives tale (Rumor)!?

Example: If you just stay up until you are tired, but you still get the sleep that your body needs when you do, will that create any problems in the long run!.

Like myself!. I don't normally go to sleep until I am tired!. It is not like I sleep for 3 hours at a time and strain out my body!. When I sleep, I get enough that my body needs!.

I don't do anything that causes any problems either!. I don't do drugs, I drink water (Plenty of fluids), I excersise!. You know, I am an average human being that cares about - taking care of the body - so I am not going to pay for it in the future!.

I am asking if it is a bad habit if I keep going to sleep when I am tired!. It is not like I am pulling all-nighters here!. I do not think I have insomia, I just sleep when I am tired, or sleep when I feel like sleepingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Not having enough sleep will inhibit your functioning and alertness!. In the long run it will take its toll on your health, but that would be a chronic case!.

Getting enough sleep is important because the body repairs itself as we sleep!. This process only happens when we are in deep sleep which would take a while to get into (not exactly sure on average how long it would take)!.

It is suggested that you get 6-8 hours of sleep and getting this sleep is most important in the child and teenage years!.
Sleeping too much is also said to be bad for you!. I'm not exactly sure why or how though!.

If you are sleeping soundly and sleeping enough hours (so that you're not tired when you wake up) then you should be fine!. Everyone is different so your sleep requirements might be different to the recommended, but keep it as a guideline!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well its important to get enough sleep cuz they say if u dont sleep for a week (or something like that) than u go crazy and if u dont sleep in over a week than u could die

but since u just sleep when ur tired its not bad ppl r supposed to sleep when their tired

but if u sleep during the day and stay up at night because u only get tired in the day than thats different its important to stay up in the day because if u dont get enough sunlight u could become depressed

Some people, like cats take catnaps throughout the day and that is considered good as are any naps, but it is best to go to sleep around the same time, yet I do what you do and do what comes naturally, but if it gets later and affects the hours of sleep you get, try to go to sleep earlier gradually and that will be more beneficial as our bodies rejuvenate cells and rejuvenate themselves during the sleeping hoursWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's very important to sleep, a good 6 hours a day will be sufficient!. Sleep regenerates energy and helps with the mental stability of the person as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
