Question: Muscle damage from heroin!? Please help!.!?
I am an ex-heroin addict
I quit 6 months ago after I missed a very big shot of dirty dope in the underside of my middle left forearm!. Since then I have been clean of all drugs and have been exercising and trying to eat healthy!. The shot didn't do much visible damage right away, it turned my arm brown which cleared up in about a week!. It left 2 small (about a inch long and very shallow) indents in my arm but other then that it didn't do much and I had no pain or anything!. Slowly through the last 7 months I noticed my left arm veins slowly become visible on my whole forearm!. This has been much more minor in my right arm, but I also can see my right arm veins more!. The size of my left arm has decreased a lot but not really noticeable to doctors or people!. The muscle is much weaker and smaller and it seems to be getting smaller and weaker all the time as more and more veins are showing up!. I have just recently noticed my left arm is becoming to be very numb!. I have also developed a numbness in my upper left back!. All of these symptoms seem to be progressing slowly, I have seen doctors but they all shake their heads at me saying nothing is wrong so I have done some research!. I've read that sometimes the drugs that heroin is cut with do not break down properly and it can stop blood from getting to the right areas, but that is all I can come up with!. I have never had any health problems before this and I am very worried because I'm doing the right thing, but it just seems to get worse and worse!. My doctors have given my ibuprofen but that just makes my arm MORE numb and since the pain isn't the issue there is really no point!. They all seem to think that I just injured my arm lifting something and that it will get better!.
Obviously doctors have failed me so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I can do!
Please if you can help me out with any knowledge of what I can do I would greatly appreciate it and I will pay you if that's what it takes to get someone to help!.

Hi there - I have helped many folks clean up before and have never heard of this reaction!. I am almost thinking that the symptoms you are having do not have anything to do with your addiction!. Must have helped at least 75 people kick and have never seen anyone with these symptoms!. The cat scan sounds good - might consider asking one of the big detox facilities if they have seen anything like this from dirty dope!. Congrats to being clean for 7 months!. You can get through this and may be able to find the right info to help you!.

you need to tell your doctor you used to be an addict and what happened!. Obviously, your body is reacting badly to the drug that you mishandled injecting!. It sounds serious if your progressively feeling numbness in your body!. You need to tell your doctor if you don't want to end up disabled!. and stop taking ibuprofen, advil, tylenol or any other over the counter drug right now!. It's reacting with the heroin that seems to me to not have flushed out of your system yet causing the numbing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
you must of damaged some nerves while taking that last shot!.i would go see a doctor that specializes in nerve damage!.that's what it sounds like to me you seem to be getting numb in your arm that is a sign of nerve damage!.you need to go get a cat scan of your arm!.tell the doctors you want one or you want to see a doctor that specializes nerve damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
