Is there a surefire way to tell if your toe is broken?!
Question: Is there a surefire way to tell if your toe is broken!?
My horse stepped on my big toe today, and I don't THINK it's broken, but is there any way I can tell!?
It hurts but only when I try to bend it past a certain point, and I can walk on it pretty well!. It's slightly swollen and I anticipate that it will be quite a nice shade of purple in a matter of days!.
He spooked and braced himself to run away, and when he jumped his hoof went right onto my toe sort of near my knuckle!.
I assumed I'd be able to tell straight away if it was broken, due to my ridiculously low pain tolerance, but I'm just not sure!.!.!.

From what you're saying it does not sound like it is broken!. If the toe looks normal except for swelling you are most likely okay!. If it's broken any movement at all would be quite painful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would say try to move it, if you can't, then it's broken

toe being broken isn't a big deal, use a splint made of something or wrap it tightly see if gets any betterWww@Answer-Health@Com
