Question: How much do EMT-P Paramedics usually make!?
I know its not as much as it should be, at least not here in New Jersey!. But, whats, say, the average salary!? I know its not a profession to get into for the money, but for the passion, but I'm just curious!.

Here in Michigan you can look at $14-18 a hour range!. Paramedics are in desperate need, but the salary isn't!.
Where I work, Medics start at $10!.49 a hour!. Basics start out at $8!.53
I make more because I'm in two departments-Communications/Road
I know some places offer Sign On bonuses but not many, especially in Michigan!.
RN's start around $20 a hour around my area!.!.!.
