I wouldn't say, that having flat feet is a major disability!. Having flat feet can cause an uneven gait, which puts pressure on your muscles, which in turn can cause knee problems and/or hip problems!.
You can have custom made insoles done, and that will help with the leg alignment!. Your Orthopdeic Surgeon should refer you!.
Not sure if flat feet would affect your ankle or not!. Im thinking probably!.Having a scope done should solve that problem!.
For excercise, why don't you try swimming or working out in a pool!. There's no extra pressure on your ankle if you're in the water

Your inactivity and being out of shape will not be helping the pain you are experiencing!.

Being flat footed means that the arch on the inside of your foot is much smaller than normal!. It generally results in weakening of some knee muscles!. Wearing the insoles will correct this though they may feel uncomfortable to start with!. The pain in your shins may be related to the flat feet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Having anxiety over appointments will get worse if you keep missing them!.

I am flat footed, have been all my life, and in no way am i disabled!.
Yes it hurt my shins and my legs ached when i did my step classes but you can buy inserts for your trainers which help!.
you can get advice on the best trainer to get!.
I'm quite fit so it has not stopped me training!.!.!.

So my advice is do not even think about it!.!.!.!. if your flat footed, so what, just get on with what you can!.

no,it's an anatomical anomilyWww@Answer-Health@Com

the first i knew i had flat feet was when my mums friend said i walk funny and my mum told her this!. It has never troubled me although i have had hip and calf pain on and off so if its related i might try those insoles out!. for girls, i thought cosmetically, that high heels wont fit right due to the fallen arch!. you will also notice from your bare footprint, very little shape!.

It's a minor deformity- up there with dimples, cleft chin, extra digits- nothing to worry over!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
