What is this pain my lower left side?!

Question: What is this pain my lower left side!?
For about 3 months I have been having this annoying pain that comes and goes as it pleases!. The pain only lasts for a few seconds then goes away!. It comes in small episodes every hour or so!.!.!.sometimes not for a few hours!.

The pain is more on my side and not near the front under my stomach!. It's about 5 inches to the left from my belly button, and about 5 inches above my hip!.

As gross as this may sound, theres been a noticeable change in my stool!. They are easy to pass and come more often in little pieces instead of long pieces like I have always passed!.

Of course I know everyone will say to see a doctor, which I plan on doing, but I just want to see if I could possibly get a general idea of what it may be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The change in your stool sounds like a Gastro problem!. You may have an ulcerated upper or lower intestine, Your doc will most likely send you to a gastroenterologist who will do an endoscopic evaluation of your intestines!. Dont worry your pain is so intermitent that you are in the early stages of whatever they find!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had similar symptoms as you!. At one point the pain in my lower left abdomen got kind of bad for a few days, so I went to the doctor!. After an ultrasound they told me that it was an ovarian cyst that had ruptured!. Once it ruptured the pain went away in a couple days and my bowel symptoms resolved, too!.

Most ovarian cysts are perfectly harmless!. :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not a doctor so please keep that in mind!.

I believe your kidneys are on the other side so that is good news!. Perhaps ulcers!. Is your stool black!? It could also just be constipation!.
If you go to wedmd!.com you can do the "symptom checker" and click on location of pain, types of pain and it will give you options!.

Good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
