Question: Is it possible to go into the doctor office without your parent!?
Like they schedule it and come, but do they actually HAVE to be in the doctor's office with you!. I mean those exams are pretty mortifing with your parent/s sitting in a chair watching!. I'm 15 BTW, but the last time I went to the doctors for a checkup I was like 13 (I know I should go for a checkup more often, but things happen!.!. lol)Www@Answer-Health@Com

At 15 you are entitled to a bit of privacy! Explain to your parent that you don't want them in the doctor's office, be polite but firm and insistent, should do the trick!. Good luck with the check up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
loll im 17 and my parents and brother all in the same room at one time when i get a check up or something and they know the doctor cause hes are family doc for about yrs now and so its a pain cause all of them are answering questions for me and i hate that so i wish i knew the answer to this one Www@Answer-Health@Com
Even as a teenager you have the right to privacy!. Just tell you parent you want to be alone with the dr!. If that doesn't work just tell the dr or nurse!. They will probably escort you parent to the waiting room!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
Tell your Mom your a big boy now and she doesn't have to " sit in "!.

Nope you can ask to be alone, I think once your'e a certain age ( it depends on state) you can go in alone!. You can even schedule appointments without your parent knowing!

yeah, also if you dont want your doctor telling your parents about it you can tell them not to!.!.!. if they do you can actually sue them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
