Question: Is bone shaving surgery painful!?
i've never had surgery before, but i need it for my jaw in like a year cuz the jaw bones are getting too big and needs to be shaved down!. i am really scared and i have some questions!. will it be extremely painful aftWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had this done through my mouth!. I'm not sure if they're going to yours this way or not!. They had to do mine because I had a bone spur on my gum!. It hurt after the medication wore off but was given medication to take which helped!. It felt totally back to normal within 10 days!.

Depends on the person!.They do numb you first so it does not hurt or as bad!.Your best bet is not to worry!.Relax!.Okay while they are doing this think of something happy and do not think about the surgery during the surgery!.Think about a good book you have read!.Or your friends!.Or even better me!Or they may put you to sleep so you will really not feel a thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Everyones body reacts differently, it all depends on who the person it, the will most likily put you to sleep, but it wont hurt during the surery!. Maybe after it it well be soreWww@Answer-Health@Com
