It's because either ppl need to fit in!. Or in some cases their everyday life is miserable to them so they do this to feel something and they sometimes want their lives to be over because of the pain they feel!. Most will stop if they find someone they love a lot!. A lot of ppl i know cut their wrist for the reason that they were raped their mom and dad doesn't care about them or that no one likes them!. And other people don't make it any better by telling them to go die on a daily basis!. so instead of cutting their wrist they hang themselves, slit their wrist, or overdose!. and not all emo kids cut whoever said that ( dude that spelled stupid wrong shouldn't be talking about being an idiot b/c he doesn't know how to spell a simple 5 yr old's word) is wrong!. A lot of my friends cut and a lot r emo b/c they're very emotional!. emo is either emo-tional or cutting their wrists!. my answer is done and now i bid u ado for if that dude that called emo kids "stuped" looks at my name he will call me an idiot and i don't want to go cyber ninja on him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
your question is a little vague!. Do you mean why do they try and kill themselves, or why do some people cut themselves!. The people who just cut themselves are generally NOT trying to kill themselves!. It is often a manifestation of depression or feelings of isolation or emotional loss and abandonment!. They cut themselves to feel something!. To show they are alive!. Definitely not a healthy activity, but not intended to kill themselves!.
