Question: Can any serious injury come from hitting your throat!?
I tripped and hit my throat on the corner of my couch!. It really really hurts to swallow and just in general, it feels like it's almost like swelling and I can barely speak! Is this anything serious or should I just ice it and go on with my life!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could have sustained serious injury, but it sounds like you've just bruised it - pain and swelling!.

I would go and see a doctor!. There are many different structures in there, and if you can hardly swallow or speak there may be a slight injury!. Only a qualified MD can tell you for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
erm unles it gets worse not realy although id be weary of biug bruises theres a lot of blood transported via the neck but shud be ok from just this get some ice and chillWww@Answer-Health@Com
