Does it sound like i have insomnia?!


Question: Does it sound like i have insomnia!?
I'm a 40 yr old female happily married almost 18 yrs!.!.!.I dont work and for the past few weeks i have been having a lot of trouble sleeping at night !.!.!.!.Most nights i will go to bed around 11:30 pm or midnight with my husband and i will just lay awake for awhile cause i cant fall asleep so i will get online until 2 or 3 am until i start feeling really sleepy and then i wont get up until 10 or 11 am but i still feel sleepy all day!.!.!.!.This has been going on for a few weeks!.!.!.I just cant sleep at night anymore!.!.!.!.I have no health insurance so going to a dr is not an option!.

I doubt you have insomnia! It's when you're really tired and lay down to go to sleep and can't, then you get up and try something else, get real tired again, try sleeping and can't!. It's an endless non-sleep battle!. When I had a case of insomnia, I finally got tired around 6am, went to sleep for a few short hours and was back up by 10!.

I'm thinking in your case, you need to work yourself up to get tired enough to fall asleep!. Or read a book!. If you have a TV or computer in your room, get it out of there! Don't go to bed unless you are tired and ready for sleep, then don't think about it!. I always try to read a book and that knocks me out fast!. Or playing solitaire on my phone!.

Do you take any meds!?!?!? Have you over slept one day!?!?!? Does this occur often!?!?!? It sounds like you might have a hard time sleeping!. Also you should try some sleeping meds you can buy at the drug store!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am 40 and happily married too, and for awhile i could not sleep either!. my dr said our bodies change and that can be a symptom!. nothing bad just something we go through!. are you thinking of something, or are you just not tired!. what i did and it really helped me is!. wake up early at least by 8!. keep yourself up!!! if you HAVE to take a nap make it no longer than 45 min!. eat healthy and take a multi vitamin!. i like centrum performance!. dont drink caffeine after 3!. take a hot shower or bath and use lavender lotion etc!.!. i like my nature sounds cd!. if that doesnt help i would use melatonin!. not the sleeping pills over the counter you will be more tired than needed the next day!. good luck!.
