Pain in right hip, spreading to rest of leg and lower back?!

Question: Pain in right hip, spreading to rest of leg and lower back!?
I have soreness on the anterior side of my right hip that has been constant for over 5 days!. The feeling can be compared to needing the joint popped back into the socket!. I believe what initially caused the injury was pushing myself too far during a recent walk!.

Anyway, the pain fluctuates between soreness when walking and affecting my stride to the point of limping and the shooting pain can be measured probably as a 4 or 5 (but I don't have much faith in the pain scale)!.When resting, the pain is compared to a 3, irritating but manageable!. In the past 48 hours, my pelvis has started to ache and I have had some muscle spasms in my thigh and knee!. At some points I get a little numbness in the foot and toes but that has just started and can possible be attributed to the stretching and walking on a bum hip!.

I have tried some simple stretching, yoga and some rest but probably not enough!. It feels as though if I could just move or stretch a certain way, it will pop and feel better but the fact that the pain is spreading leads me to believe it may be more serious of an injury than previously thought!.

Anyone have suggestion!?

And yes I know I should see a physician but since it is the hip and a complicated body part I would prefer to hear some opinions before I get sent to a series of X-rays and other procedures just to find out it is a strain!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you don't want to go to a doctor right away a chiropractor might be able to help!. This might be good just to see if everything is lined up right and then if they think you need further help then you could get x-rays then!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
