Answers:
YES,
I had fusion surgery in January08 (L4-5 and Lamanectomy), I woke up from surgery with numbness in small of back, left butt, left thigh and down the leg to left foot and all toes accept baby toe!. My doctor pretty much blew that off as well, told me not to worry, that it would go away soon!. In August he removed the hardware on the left side and told me this would fix the numbness!. It did not!. The only thing it did was alleviate my associated Sciatica which also had increased significantly after surgery!. I hope I am not discouraging you, I just wanted to share with you!. Oh, yea, the nurse came in one appt!. and said, "Did the Doctor tell you the numbness may never go away!?"!. I was shocked and told her, no, he did not tell me that, and she quickly changed her story! Www@Answer-Health@Com
