There's not too much you can do!. If it's still looking completely normal and not pointing a strange way, the best thing to do is to use a bandaid or paper tape to strap it up to the toe next to it!. This will mean you don't use it too much and it won't get moved around!.

If it is pointing in a strange direction it'd probably be a good idea to get it checked out - you wouldn't want to have it set in a crooked position!. They'll probably just straighten it and tape it up, but they'll straighten it properly!.

Hope the pain goes away quickly for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My cousin broke her toe playing softball when she was 14!. what she did is she wrapped it up and taped it to another toe!. She said it helped a lot!. She even went to her volleyball practice until it healed!. She took a few pain killers and kept it iced, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It needs to be immobilized either with a splint or buddy taping until it heals (usually 6-8 weeks)!.

As a follow-up, do you know that it is broken via xrays, MD, etc, or are you just assuming it is broken because of the pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

there's nothing that can be done for a broken pinky toe!. just elevate it, ice it & take anti-inflammatories!.
