Does socialized health care work better than America's health care?!
Question: Does socialized health care work better than America's health care!?
I want to hear both sides!.
France- yes the socialized health care slows the economy
but if you get cancer, you get three months of paid vacation to recover and you do not have to pay a lot more money to get cancer treatment
in America, if you get cancer you have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer treatment and your employer will have no sympathy for you
now ive also heard that canadians come to america for surgeries because canadian doctors have no incentive to perform such costly services for so low prices thanks to socialized medicine in canadaWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think so!. I am lucky enough to be an Australian citizen but lived in the US without health care for 1 yr! I had an unexpected visit to the hospital for a chest infection (1 hour in er, one test and a prescription = $1200!!!) whilst I was there and could not believe the expense! I feel so bad for people with no health care insurance! Lucky I had travel insurance and got 100% of my $ back!.
We may pay higher income taxes but I think it's worth it for free health care!
Here, you also have the option to be privately insured and pay yourself!. That way you can avoid the waiting lists for surgeries in public hospitals, choose your own Dr, etc)!. It costs about $550/year for basic cover!. And you get a tax break if you purchase it!.
After living in the USA, I realised how lucky I was to live in a country with universal health care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
