Tammy - a sensible answer hopefully! The condition is known as anemic - which can be related to having an iron deficiency - vitamin K is good for this and do drink plenty of water!.

Many years breast fed babies were found to be lacking in vitamin K - whether or not this relates to anemia I'm not sure!. However, I would consult your doctor and they would certainly provide you with a more qualified opinion then this website!. Happy to help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you do not have an adequate layer of body fat, then bruises will sometimes appear with the slightest knock!. This is one of the reasons why some elderly people and children bruise easily!. They may not have adequate fat on their arms and legs and may tend to bruise easily in these areas!.

Another reason that some people bruise easily is a rare genetic disorder called von Willebrand disease, which prevents the blood from clotting properly!. This disorder affects at least 1% of the population!. The symptoms of von Willebrand disease include excessive bleeding, especially in the nose and gums!. The condition can also cause sufferers to bruise easily, typically in unusual locations!. Symptoms of von Willebrand disease can be very mild, and for this reason, the condition often goes undetected!. Von Willebrand disease is treated with a medication called Desmopressin!.

Stop falling j/k

On a serious note, you should get some bloodwork done, to see what else might be causing you to bruise so easily!. Some possibilities include hemophilia (genetic disease) and the lesser known and often undiagnosed Von Willebrand's disease!. Any unexplained bruising needs medical investigation!. Go to your doctor- you may be anemic!. You need to eat more meat to get more B12 in your system!. Bananas and other high iron and potassium rich foods will help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
