ok, so today i tripped over one of your normal wooden stairs and my right knee really hurts, what should i do!?!

If it is swollen you should ice and apply heat in 2minute intervals 2 or 3 times a day, for 2 days after it stops hurting (so that the pain doesn't come back)
If it is not swollen just ice it for a few days in 15 minute intervals 2 times a day until it stops hurting!.
