Yes, it does work!. But make a saline solution rather than using dry salt (the edge of the salt crystals will grate at the skin and the open wound)

well thast what the old grandmas and granpas in their days would do as they say it will help to kill the germs as so what thay say!. But from what i have experience a sore in the mouth sure works when you rub it with salt
