Wrist Problem/Pain Not Shown In X-ray and getting worse?!

Question: Wrist Problem/Pain Not Shown In X-ray and getting worse!?
I had wrist pains in my left wrist from the summer!. I do a lot of breakdancing and skimmboarding so I figured it was from that!. I rested it for about 2 months but it still didn't feel better!. I chose to go to a hospital and get an x-ray but it showed nothing!. I even got an MRI and the doctor said I might have had a previous fracture but it has been healed for a long time!. I went to another hospital to get a second opinion but only got the same thing!. They told me my bones were nice and healthy and etc!. I finally went to a physical therapist and explained my problem!. He told me that he could tell it was injured and that it would take some time to heal!. The wrist only hurts when I push on something with my hand completely opened up!. Stretching is also painful!. Im am so fustrated! Help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest not doing dancing if it is still bothering you!.

The MRI should have shown if there was any ligament or muscle tears!.

It is possible that you strained your hands, which wont show up on any tests!. Strangely enough, you use your hands for a great many uses and movements, and something else you are doing may be preventing healing!.

I am a typist, and have strained my hands many times!. It hurts immensely but only in some positions or actions!. It took about 6 months to heal to the point where I could pick up the dishes etc without them aching or me dropping the plates!.

I would advise that you take the time to let it heal until your arm tells you that its ready to take on dancing again!. Try to get some physio exercises for it and do them everyday!. Try to take notice of the things you do with your hand that are similar to how you hurt it and be gentle :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might have damaged ligaments in your arm!.
Did the physical therapist give you exercises to do, these do help if you keep doing them, don't give up after a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
