Question: How to stop a cramp!?!?!?
I need help every night for the past 2 weeks i have had a cramp in my thy and it hurts like hell any advice is good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Leg cramps at night are usually caused from a lack of potassium!. Like others have said, eat a banana a day!. Another good fruit to eat is an orange!.

Are you exercising!? If so, potassium is lost through sweating and needs to be replaced!. Also, if you are exercising make sure you do the proper stretching before and after!.

Try checking out this web site for more foods rich in potassium

To alleviate the cramp, try using heat on the area for about 10 - 15 minutes!. This might help bring more blood to the area thereby bringing more oxygen and potassium to the muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i won't claim to have any kind of medical knowledge, but I do know that not drinking enough water can be a contributing factor to cramping muscles!.and your diet might be low on potassium!. So I eat a banana a day- no more cramps

Hope you find relief soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might just be growing pains!.
To avoid getting cramps, eat pottasium (in bananas) and drink lots of water!. When you get a cramp put a hot water bottle on your leg and just go to sleep with the hot water bottle on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Common causes of such cramps are dehydration, too much caffeine or too much booze as well as a deficiency of potassium (bananas), calcium (dairy products), magnesium (nuts) or vitamin B6 (dairy products)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat more potassium and calcium!. Its cramping cuz you are lacking those vitamins!. When you do get the cramp, try stretching!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
