I was in the hospital for extreme pain due to having a kidney stone!. After 9 hours of non-stop pain the pain just stopped!. Does that mean I passed it!? Its been 3 days now and I get achy in my lower right side of my back still but nothing like the pain I was having before!. I never got pain in my lower abdomen or pain when I urinated!.
Since the pain is barely there anymore and not constant does that mean I passed it in the hospital!? Is it possible for it to pass and you not know!? I have been drinking water like a mad women since my stay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had something similar had to me!. If you were on pain killers you could have passed it without knowing it!.
It happened to me!. I was in such distress I was crying like crazy!. They put me on Vicodin and I honestly couldn't tell you when I passed it, I couldn't feel a thing!!
Good luck and avoid caffiene from now on (as much as you can)!. It can cause these infections!.
Oh, and you might still have a kidney infection and not still have the kidney stone!. Keep that in mind!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your still in the hospital the only way for them to tell is to Xray and find out!. Otherwise the best thing to do is get it zapped by sonic waves, they did that with mine, its less invasive and it took about 3 months for it to pass but I wasn't it in any pain!. When I did pass it you don't necessarily feel it but you can get a bit teary eyed!.

Not necessarily, It took me 3 weeks to pass my kidney stone!. The pain will come and go!. Don't drink any thing with caffeine in it or the pain will come back big time!. One home remade that helped me pass my stone was to eat 1/2 a cup of pureed broccoli 3 times a day!. It really works and is in a lot of medical books!. There are others but I don't remember what they were!. But you can look it up on line!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
