Answers:
Alcohol with antibiotics is good in the way that it helps kill bacteria, but inside your liver, but the antibiotic will not work as well because some of the liver enzymes that do this job will be taken by the alcohol!. One beer is no problem though, just try not to get hammered!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is best not to drink until after you have completed taking all of your antibiotics!. 1 drink would be acceptable with friends or a meal!. More than one is not advised!. This should be covered in the pamphlet that came with your prescription!.

It is not okay to drink excessively (S**T Faced)!. This could upset your stomach and increase your chances of diarrhoea!. It also changes the efficacy of the prescribed drug!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some antibiotics are actually still alive in the capsule!. Pills are not alive!. Alcohol affects living cells and retards the effectiveness of living antibiotics!. Alcohol is also a complex sugar chain to some degree and as such it can attach itself to the antibiotic molecule and mess up its chemical formula so it won't work!. In some cases it can actually turn the antibiotics molecule chain into a toxic substance but being so small it doesn't affect many people to the point they notice being toxic!.
So, should you drink alcohol while on antibiotic therapy!? No! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it is unsafe if you are only having one beer however I wouldn't recommend it!. Alcohol can impair the effects of antibiotics making them less effective and the combination could make you sick to you stomach!. I know Coronas are tasty but I bet they would taste even better if you waited to have one when you were feeling better!. Thats just my opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is NOT okay to drink alcohol while taking antibiotics!. There could be serious complications!. It is not a myth!. It is true that serious complications do not occur in everybody, only in a few!. But to be safe, don't drink!. Not even one beer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They say to not drink alcohol with antibiotics, but it's pretty much a myth!. It's okay to have say a few beers when taking them!.

As for drinking hard liquor in excess, then no because alcohol decreases immune system and liver function!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you are not supposed to drink when you have anti biotics!. Jessica is right liver is having a hard time to function!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
