Numbness in shoulder, left arm and hand, stiff neck?!

Question: Numbness in shoulder, left arm and hand, stiff neck!?
My father has had these symptoms for over a week now and I'm worried they're pre-heart attack symptoms!. Others include:

* Unusual fatigue (He has this)
* Sleep disturbance (Perhaps!?)
* Shortness of breath
* Chest pain
* Indigestion (He has this)
* Anxiety (He has this)
* Pain in shoulder blade or upper back (He has this)

He has a history of heart problems in his family!. He can't move his neck and his arm is partially useless YET he still won't go to the hospital!. He went to see my uncle (a doctor) for a five minute appt!. and my uncle thinks it's a nerve but I really think it's more!. I think my father needs to go to the hospital in case it IS a heart attack!. Why are men so stubborn!?

PS!. He's in great shape for 46 but he's got a temper and angers easily, he's always working on outdoor projects (building things) and he tends to get stressed out a lot!.

What do you think all of this could mean!? Could I be right!? How can my mother and I convince him to go to the hospital and get some tests done!. Ugh!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should really apply pressure for him to see his physican!. I don't want to alarm you, but it could be that he's had a mild stroke!. My dad was the exact same way and wound up having a massive heart attack because he was in denial!. Do whatever you can to get him to the doctor!

"Why are men so stubborn!?" God only knows!.!.!. because I sure don't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
