Answers:
You don't say what part of the arm got hit, but with a baseball bat it really doesn't matter!. You may have a hairline fracture in one of the bones and the swelling is fluid being put there by your body to protect something!. Probably best to get an x-ray taken just to make sure!. Your arm is throbbing because the fluid and deep bruise is probably squeezing or pushing against an artery!. I hope that you put ice packs on the injury during the first twenty four hours!. Wishing you the very best young lady and I hope nothing is broken!. It will take a while for the bruising and swelling to go down!. Best that you elevate the arm when you are resting, that will help the swelling some!. Good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
