Question: Why wont my boyfriend stop coughing!? !?
Okay so he does it a lot! And hes going the the doctors soon to get it diagnosed!. I think its a smokers cough but he said he hasnt smoked "enough" to get it!. Just tried it a few times!. He was sick a few weeks ago but i dont think its that!. What do you think it is!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Smoking any amount, at any age will irritate the respiratory system, and does increase coughing!. The other thing to consider is allergies!. If he is spitting, snorting or clearing his throat a lot, he may have post-nasal drip, which will lead to a chronic cough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If he has had a history of breathing problems, pnemonia, asthma, ect!.!.!.!.smoking wont help him, and that will definitely accelerate it!. Tell him flat out to quit, or he might have some sort of allegery!.
I know a guy that I ride with on my commuter train, and he clears his throat constanly and he has done this as long as i have seen him on the train!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i can't tell you how annoying that is to hear!.!.!.!.!.!.!.EVERYDAY!!!
