im guessing alcohol!. definitely not weed the things you read and hear on tv are wrong about marijuana!. in a lot of states you can have a certain amount on you and not get in trouble!. its also known to raise your self-esteem!. plus they use it on cancer patients!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Alcohol and cigarettes!. It was put in place because the US for several reasons - 1!. the US government had a harder time controlling the sales of alcohol than marijuana and couldn't tax it as easily!. 2!. The logging industry opossed the growth of marijuana because it can be used for paper and other wood based products and is easier and cheaper to grow and to turn over on the land!. The logging industry would have lost a lot of sales!. 3!. The cotton industry also opposed it for the same reasons!.
There are a few other reasons, but these were the major influences!. It's not necessarily based on racism, but on economics!. Which is bad too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Out of the 3, my guess would be alcohol because these drunks get behind the wheel of a car and don't care how intoxicated they are!. They end up hitting and killing a lot of people!. You never hear of someone hitting another person because they were smoking!. Yes, it causes cancer but I still think it's alcohol!. As far as the other part of your question, I am unsure of what law you are referring to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
