Question: Constant headaches and neck stiffness!?
i have headaches all the time! and they're bad! sometimes i cant even get up!. i also get dizzy sometimes!. my neck gets stiff if i lay in one side and dont move it often!. i have to keep moving it or it hurts!. What could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

One major question- how long have you had this!? Is this something that has come on in the last few hours or days!? If so, does it send sharp pains down your back if you flex your neck!? If yes, get to the hospital IMMEDIATELY!! This could be meningitis!.
Headache differentiation
Migraine - Throbbing, Sensitivity to light, worse behind one eye, worse
as day goes on!. Made worse by chocolate, cheese,
wine, mensies, and stress!.
Cluster - One sided over eye and side of head, blood shot eye, tearing
eyes, runny nose, HA(Headache) last for 15 min -2hr, has
slight relief and then starts again!.
Temporal Arteritis- Over age 50, persistant, throbbing, burning, aching,
fever, sensitive scalp, tender arteries!. If visual symptoms-
This is a medical emergency!.
Sinus - Localized to one area, steady throb, worse in morning!.
pressure in sinuses!.
Tension - throbbing- You wake up in am with HA and it subsides
usually 2-3 hours later and then returns later on!. Usually
high blood pressure!.
Muscular tension - Band like HA around head, muscle tightness and
pressure!.
Cervicogenic HA- Most likely with your description!. Neck stiffness
and HA with head movement!. Pain at base of skull in back!.
made worse by head movement and stress!. Misalignment in
the spine can also cause dizziness!.
THE FOLLOWING ARE VERY SERIOUS CONDITIONS- GET HELP IMMEDIATELY IF EITHER OF THESE FIT
Subarachnoid hemorrhage - Feels like you were hit with a baseball bat!. Constant neck stiffness, fever, excruciating pain like your have never felt before, abrupt onset, History of hypertension, high blood pressure!. Feels like head is going to expolode!. Can cause dizziness!.
Brain Tumor - Worse in morning and evening, throbbing, neck stiffness is worse than ever, wakes you up at night, there may be unexplained weight loss, varies form mild to severe!. Can cause dizziness!.
TREATMENT
If you have the symptoms of meningitis, temporal arteritis with visual disturbances, subarrachnoid hemorrhage, or brain tumor!. Go to your Medical doctor IMMEDIATELY!.
For migraines, cluster, tension or Cervicogenic, go see a chiropractor!. Chiropractors help with these things all the time (cluster are the hardest to treat)!.
