My belly button ring is infected. what do i do?!
Question: My belly button ring is infected!. what do i do!?
i got my belly button peirced a few weeks ago!. it has been perfectly fine up to today!. i cant freely move it up and down like i could yesturday, it will hardly budge!. its painful and a clear liquid came out!. i really want this peircing!. any help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Clear liquid is OK if it turns yellow then it is bad!. I had mine done and there were good days and bad days depending on what I wore (jeans that rubbed it)!. I cleaned mine 4 times a day with soap and water!. Once it is soaped up then you can move it back and forth to clean the inside!. Rinse thoroughly!! If you do use alcohol on it use it sparingly b/c if it drys out it won't move freely!. If it is hurting you then a little neosporin is good for the pain, but just put a little on the ring and move it back and forth to work it in!. Good Luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Its probably just irritated, not infected!. If it was infected there would be more than clear fluid coming out!. Use a paper towel (no cotton balls or q-tips) and put a little rubbing alcohol on it and clean it as well as you can daily or maybe even twice a day!. Mine is finally healed and it really takes a long time!. Also do not take the bar out!. If you do you have a really high chance of it getting infected!. Good luck and I'm sure it will be fine!.

Oh my god how judgmental is the 'go to the doctor now' person!. Where do they come from!. Good answers apart from his tho may I add that salt water is great as a wash for your piercing & it will be fine please don't get too stressed about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
