Why should you not take other peoples prescriptions? Just wondering..?!

Question: Why should you not take other peoples prescriptions!? Just wondering!.!.!?
Just wondering!.!.!. if you were to be prescribed to you anyways, would it make a difference!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First, you may not have the same condition!. Second, you may have counter-indications!. Third, you may be taking other drugs that may cause drug-drug interaction, potentially very harmful!. Fourth, you may require a different dosage!. Other than that - no reason whatsoever :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is the same medication and the same dosing you could take it, if it wasnt prescribed to you!.
If its not, there are many reasons you shouldnt take other peoples prescriptions!. First, its illegal!.
Secondly, ALL medicines have interactions!. Those interactions could affect you!.
You may potentially be allergic to an ingrident in the medication!.
The dosing may not be strong enough, or conversely too strong!.
If it is an antibiotic, you can not be treating the infection, instead making it worse, and when you DO have to go to the doctor, it will be harder to get rid of your infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even if you have been prescribed the same drug in the past or may be prescribed it in the future you should not take someone else's medications!.

Maybe they are receiving a different dosage and if you took theirs it would be too much, and it could result in an over dose!.

Also maybe this medication would not do anything for you or have harmful side effects if you take it while using another drug!. For instance if you are taking Birth Control, taking headache medications will lessen the effect of that medication!. Some pain releavers mixed with other medications will make your moods change and can lead to addictions!.

its just not right, if you need a medication ask your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi:

Please listen!. I'll make this simple, loud and clear: IT'S DANGEROUS!!

Doctors prescribe medicines that are suited specifically to his patients needs!. It's not the same as taking over-the-counter drugs like aspirin or antacid pills!.

The dose in a prescription drug may be different for each person!. You can't take that risk!. Don't play "Russian Roulette" with your health!. It could cost you your life!. Please be sensible and get your own prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on what it is !.!.!.
1!. They were prescribed with a Dr!. knowing their medical history!. Whats right for them may not be right for you!.
2!. Its illegal
3!. Some medications you have to take for a while and when they run out it leaves you with none and no way to get it and this can be dangerous!.

even if you are prescribed the same medication as someone else, it may not be the same dose, or one of you may have a generic brand, its just wise to stick to your own medication because you never know what people keep in their medicine bottlesWww@Answer-Health@Com

because you don't know if that drug is the right one for what you are taking it for, let's say you friend has strep throat and you have bronchitis, well just because you take antibiotics for both of them, doesn't mean that just any one will doWww@Answer-Health@Com

Putting aside the question of it being illegal, you might not be prescribed the same dosage and they might run out because you are sharing the pills and not be able to get the refill they need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

while the drug that may be prescribed to you is the same, the dosage may not be!. If it is EXACTLY the same (the drug name, how many mg per pill) then there wouldn't be a problem!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what do you mean by "if you were to be prescribed to you anyways"!? Please rephrase your question because it doesn't make sense as it is now!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you may be allergic and not know it, knew a guy in HS too prescription pain pill from a friend and had a stroke that afternoon!. poor guy is messed up to this day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor didn't recommend it to you, as it may interact with things they obviously didn't know about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They might have serious side effects and might effect you permanantly it depends!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is dangerous and may not be the right sort of medicine for you and your current condition!. it could do more harm than good by doing soWww@Answer-Health@Com

Kidney damage, Liver failure, Imagine choking or vomiting your own insides!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont know ask the people who let other peoples medications be in our drinking waterWww@Answer-Health@Com

because you probably dont have the same condition as that person!.
or maybe you actually can,, doctors just want to make more money! lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
