Question: Oxycodone and alcohol interactions!?
I recently burned my hands pretty severely, so I'm taking Oxycodone (5 mg) as a pain reliever!. The last pill I took was about two hours ago!. Also, I have an exam later today, and I was freaking out, so I took a single shot of brandy about an hour ago to calm my nerves!. Now, I'm feeling a bit dizzy and disoriented!. Im on Norcos(10mg!.Hydrocodone)and I actually had a drink last night,bad idea because I threw up this morning!.Im not lecturing you but that's what happens when you mix the two,probably because what we are taking is a rather strong pain medication!.I usually can drink a little alcohol while taking this med!.but not last night!.Your just having a bit of a interaction!.You will be ok!Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should never mix pain medication with alcohol!. Always read the directions on your prescription bottle!. There is probably a little yellow sticker that tells you not to drink while taking the medication right on the bottle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
