I have a sore tailbone?!

Question: I have a sore tailbone!?
Well, I'm 14!. In 8th grade!.
Recently, I've had a cold!. Whenever I cough my tailbone hurts!. When I go to sit, and while I am sitting, It doesn't!. But when I go to stand, it gets sore!. Aleve or Tylenol don't work!. I guess, it's not really pain, but its really sore, and Its been like this for 3 days!.

Help!?! I am very confused as to why this is happening!. I haven't fallen recently!. No one pushed me, kicked me, etc!. I haven't ridden a bike, and nothing unusual!. I don't have gym class, either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Feel it with your fingers!. Does it feel as if your tailbone has a knob on the end of it under the skin!?
You could possibly have a Pilonidal Cyst!. I had one and had to have it surgically removed!.
Here's some information on the subject (be forewarned that the picture included is NOT pretty!.)

BTW, I hope you don't have it!. See your doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm betting that this is because when you caugh it is causeing you to jump a little in your seat or lean forward and thn back ecsesivly !. you should deffinatly go to the doctor because 1!. you have a cold and they will give you medicine to help cure that and 2!. you could have bruised your ttail bone and even tho its not a visible bruise the bone its self could be!.

I had a similar experience in high school!. It turned out to be an abscess!. I thought I must have slept weird or something but it kept getting worse and eventually hurt so bad I had to go to the doc!. You need to get it checked out!. Take hot baths too, that will help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
