Answers:
There is a product called "Splinter out"!. They work great! it is basically a flat piece of metal that has a sharp triangular point to it!. try using this to cut the dead skin over it, then get under it and ply it out!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure what kind of cream you are thinking about but if the splinter is made of wood it will absorb any cream or water and expand!. It will make it harder to get out!. If you do not want to poke yourself with a needle and cannot get a hold of it with a tweezer, then either have someone else do it, or try some plain old Elmer's glue!. Put it on like in grade school covering the splinter!. The thought is that the glue will grab onto the splinter, allow to dry completely (the longer you let it dry, the better it will work) and just peel the glue off!. If it worked, the splinter will come out with the glue!. If not, then get your needle, wipe with alcohol and dig it out!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The important thing is that you get it out! There is something you can soak it in so it will come out of its own, but I think tweezers are the best way!. Get suggestions from these answers and get it out as soon as you can!. Otherwise it gets harder to get out and it can get infected!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Run your finger with the splinter under lukewarm water for a minute or two and then rub your finger to get it closer to the edge of your skin and then you can just force it out with a sharp point, EG!. a needle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Soak the area in warm water before trying to get it out!. Soft skin will help a lot!. You can try a pin instead of tweezers, but I find that the sharp pointed tweezers work the best!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't like the answer already and leaving it in can cause it to get infected!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
