Answers:
It is usually due to very small muscle "fasiculations," or rapid partial muscle spasms!. You can usually feel this more than see it, because the movements are rapid and very minor!. Someone else could actually feel it if they gently laid their hand over your eyelid, also!.

When this type of "twitch" affects the smallest muscles like the eye, it is usually because you are holding a LOT of increased generalized muscle tension and increased pressure or "resting state tone" in ALL your muscles!. You are what a massage therapist might call "tight!." That causes fatigue and strain in these little muscles, and they react with fasiculations!.

You need to DE-STRESS, RELAX, and LOOSEN UP!. Stretch more and then massage yourself to try and UN-CLENCH those muscles!. try to examine your life for sources of stress, and plan how to eliminate them or cope with them more effectively!.

Don't wait until you start grinding your teeth, getting TMJ syndrome, begin to have headaches, or heartburn!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you may have had bumped your eye area!. rub the areas around your eyes and eyebrows in small gentle circles when you feel the twitching begin!. you might put a warm compress over your eyes and relax taking a few deep breaths and blow out slowly!. they should stop in a day or two!. if not, see an ophthalmologist!. good health to youWww@Answer-Health@Com
