Answers:
The professional soft ball players have a particular way of throwing that was developed to keep injuries to a minimum!. If you are throwing in a different manner then you may be injuring your elbow with every throw!. It's not 'don't pitch'; it's 'pitch correctly or pay the price'!.
I have attached a bit on elbow anatomy, below, for you to look at!. Elbows are full of nerves going to the hand!. Continuing irritation to the elbow can cause hand problems!. You can also get elbow pain from putting the computer mouse in the wrong location, or playing video games in the wrong position for long period of time!. Your best bet to continue playing softball is to see a sports therapist or sports doctor!.
Good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

As soon as I read this I thought "Tommy John" Surgery which is something that MLB Pitchers get all the time!. Its replacement of a liagment that has been injured in the elbow!.

It sounds like you've injured the elbow, obviously, and my recommendation would be to see a doctor specialized in elbows, or sports injuries!. Unfortunately, if it is the case of a 'tommy john surgery' than nothing will make your arm feel better, and you may have to look at being a fielder instead of a pitcher!.
