Question: Splinter under the nail, can I leave it in!?
Ok well I got a splinter under my nail!. Its impossible to reach with tweezers or anything else!. It doesn't hurt unless I like press it against something and its a bit swollen!. Is it ok to just let it come out itself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to let it come out on it's own!. If you try to get it now or go to the doctor's they might just make the wound bigger and make you more prone to infection!. Just watch your splinter to make sure the area around it isn't getting infected!. If it starts to look infected, then go to the doctor's but generally there are no worries, no infection and it'll come out on it's own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
NO, never leave a splinter in! It'll get infected!. If you can't get it out, go to the doctor and he/she can better asses the situation!. Since going to the emergency room for a splinter is a little drastic, going to the doctor should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yeah, most of the time letting a splinter come out by itself is actually better because you won't make the wound bigger and more susceptible to infection by digging in there with various objects and irritating it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
its going to get puss in it,squeezeit then it should come out,or try and cut nail short and use needle to get it out,or go to store and find small nosed pliers and remove!. been there done that!. AXMANWww@Answer-Health@Com
you should run it under some high pressure cold water then it will come out cuz some times leaving it in it will get infected that you dont want that to happenWww@Answer-Health@Com
