Question: Does anyone know whats wrong with my ankle!?
I just played a soccer game today and i dont remember doing anything to my ankle during the game but then about 10 minutes after it started swelling up and it hurts to walk and move my ankle!.!.!.it hurts only at the top of my ankle where my shin connects to my foot!.!.does anyone know what this is!.!.!.i think its an ankle sprain but im not sure i just want to make sure its nothing like ligament damage or anythingWww@Answer-Health@Com

It could be liagment damage, I would go to the doctor to get it checked that its not ligament damage!! In the meantime, ice it (20 mins on 20 mins off!) elevate it, above your hips, and rest it!

You could have possibly fractured one of the small bones on your ankle, I've done this before and played on it for months, with on and off pain and swelling, until I found through a bone scan it had been seriously injured!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You either sprained it, which if u did itll take a few weeks to heal!. But if not then you possibly pulled a muscle, and thatll take a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
