If your chest is tight and you have a cough all night, you should maybe see your GP, you may have a chest infection!. If not, try Benylin cold and flu, either liquid or capsules!. They contain a decongestant which may help shift the stuff on your chest!. This can also make you drowsy so will help you sleep!. Steam is really good for helping to loosen it, try leaning over a bowl of hot water!. And stay wrapped up!. Cold air will make you feel worse, but central heating will dry you up, so drink plenty of fluids, hot drinks are best!. (But not milky drinks)!. Get well soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can get it in the UK get a cough syrup called "Irish Moss" it is fantastic and it works wonders!. hope this helps and I hope you feel better soon take care and stay safe!.

oh and if you are on any medications just check with the chemist to make sure it is safe to take that with any medications you maybe on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on how long you have had the chest infection, I would recommend you at least have someone take a listen to your breathing first!. Hope you get better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com
