Question: I Fractured my arm owwwwwwwww!?
Um!.!.!. i fractured my arm and this is the first time i got a cast on and it is very annoying and makes my distressed!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i was wondering what is best to scraqtch under my cast with when its itchy and is there any possible way to keep it from getting sweaty!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.proberly not cuz i can't get it wet and btw i am typing very slow :LWww@Answer-Health@Com

A knitting needle, as previously stated, works great!. :] A chopstick is also a good alternative, or the wire end of a flyswatter or stick end of a wooden spoon (just be careful not to give yourself splinters)!.
As for keeping it from getting sweaty, using baby powder or something like a foot anti-itch powder works great, although it can be difficult to get it inside the cast!. It will provide a cooling sensation and relief for that nasty sweaty feeling that you'll get within the next few weeks!.
There are plenty of tricks that I'm sure you'll figure out (those of us who have had casts before had to get this from SOMEWHERE, right!?) and others you can learn by continuing to ask questions!.

One thing that I did when my arm was itchy was 'distract' myself by giving myself an alternative sensation to think about: sometimes I would tap may good arm, jiggle my legs, pinch my legs, etc!.
Difficult to keep it from getting sweaty without living in air conditioned rooms for the next six weeks!
