ive read that u can get one by squeezing ur toes into shoes that dont fit, its when the bone bends!.!. ill show u a pic http://images!.google!.com/images!?hl=en&q=!.!.!. these are all hammertoes!.!. u can get it corrected if u have one, simple surgery!.!. over the years it could get worse though if u dont do anything about it

i have hammer toes!. i've always had really big feet and when i was younger it mortified me to no end that i was a big gorilla and so i'd wear shoes much too small for me!.
