Swollen glands, sore throat and earache for over a week now. getting desperate!?!

Question: Swollen glands, sore throat and earache for over a week now!. getting desperate!!?
I have tried using paracetomol, ibuprofen and the taking in of many fluids!. It just seems to be getting worse!. I have been to see the doctor twice, and both have told me it isn't tonsilitus!. All I am asking for is some more effective pain relief that can get me going through the day until it clears up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have exactly the same thing!. I went to my doctors and they told me to gargle soluble paractemol for 5 days (take note of recommended dosage or ask pharmacist) as well as taking ibuprofen!.

He also prescribed me penicillin, so that if the paracetomol and ibuprofen didn't do the trick I should use the penicillin for 10days and that should sort it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like me about 2 weeks ago I saw the doctor with dizziness and an earache, he treated me with antibiotics, I took the course as directed, it got better almost immediately but near the end got worse! He gave me a new antibiotic when I told him what happened!. Same thing, clears up and I take my antibiotic daily and suddenly its back and my other ear hurts too and my throat feels sore now!. I wish I had some drops or something for my sore ears!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try using Tylenol Cough and Sore Throat- It's the liquid form with "cool bursts"!. Helped my sore throat, and aches and pains over any of the other store bought medicines!. For the swollen glands, since you've already tried anti-inflammatory medication just try putting a cool pack on your throat and see if it helps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a viral infection!. I f****ng hate those!. You need to ask the doctor for more effective pain meds!. These infections typically go away on their own over a period of a week or two!. You should be fine shortly, but in the meantime you should ask for better medication!. Make sure what you are taking is anti-inflammatory!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

This may sound strange, but try Claritin or some sort of allergy medicine!. with autumn here and the leaves chaning and falling, many people's allergies are acting up!. You may not have allergies, but have seasonal allergies!. I do, and Claritin works wonders! I take it at night before bed and wake up feeling so much better!

If you want immediate relief, try sudafed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
