Answers:
Absolutely someone can survive a gunshot to the neck!. Survival will depend on mechanism of injury, what type of gun and bullet (I haven't seen the movie) and where it entered the neck!. If it hid a major artery the mortality rate would shoot through the roof, but even then, with quick intervention a patient could survive!. If it hit a less vital piece of flesh, you might only encounter minor problems!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on what damage is done!. If the trachea is hit, a quick tracheotomy could allow someone to breathe, if the carotid artery or jugular vein are hit, they could bleed out pretty quickly!. There is also the possibility of severe nerve damage which may cause death or paralysis!. Though small, there is also a chance of a bullet passing through doing only soft tissue damage while missing the trachea, vein, and artery!. The energy from the bullet may still cause a rupture, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

her major artery (e!.g!. common carotid artery) might have been damaged!. if continuous bleeding happens from the artery, a person may bleed to death since this artery delivers oxygenated blood to the brain!.

if no critical vein or artery got damaged, it is possible that she would be alive although her bones and throat might be damaged!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is a chance of surviving most shots as long as it misses a major artery or an organ!.Many people are shot in the head everyday but survive!.It's very survivable!.I'm going to see Saw 5 today!.lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
