I think my acrtilage is infected, what do I do!?!

Question: I think my acrtilage is infected, what do I do!!?
So, a couple MONTHS ago, around April/June/July, I got my cartilage pierced!.

I cleaned it for 4 months, then I rarely cleaned it and it was fine!.

I have taken it out only around 3 times!.

It has alsways been sensitive when I laiyed on it, but recetly, ever since I was taking off my sweater and the earring caught on it, it has been very sensive!.

I decided to take it out and througholy clean it today, and the front looked gross but fine, and when I turned my ear around to clean the back!.!.!.ahh!

there was a huge BUMP that looked like a mosquito bite on the back!.

I flipped out and I cleaned it with anticeptic that claire's gave me like 5 times!. I think puss came out afetrwards, too!. Then, I thorougly cleaned teh earring and put neosporin on my ear/earrring and put it back it!.

when I tried putting it back in, as I slid the earring in, it hurt REALLY bad and it had to break the skin that formed in the back!?!?

I had only had it out for 10 minutes! Am I doing this right!? help!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
That would be a KELOID!. Not an infection!. However, if you got it done at claires, then it NEEDS to come out anyways!. Piercing guns will cause MAJOR TRAUMA to the ear!. Take it out and wait a few months!. Then go and get it done at a PIERCING PARLOR!. Not a place with a gun!. Use sea salt to clean it and it will be fine!. The keloid won't go away though!. Oh STOP using the claires junk and neosporin!. Neosporin is what made it close up!. It is used to HEAL wounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you have an infection!. I would either go and get it looked at by the doctors, walk in clinic or to the hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

oh hun you need antibiotics, go see a doc in order to get it fixed!. ouch!. get well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
