Question: How should I go about cleaning a cut!? !?
About 25 minutes ago, I fell down the stairs, about two thirds of a flight(the stairs are wooden, and I had wool socks on)!. I ended up getting a cut on my left arm, and a few bruises!.
So far I have made an attempt to clean the cut with water, I don't quite know what else to do now!. Should I cover it with gauze/tape(bandaids would be too small)!? Should I air it out!? Should I do something different!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can clean the cut out with soap and water, apply some Neosporin or some other antibiotic cream and wrap it with gauze!. Not too tight, and then air it out for an hour or so each day, so your wound doesn't stay moist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If it's big put some Rubbing alcohol on it and put the gauze pad on and put some pressure on it and if the blood bleeds through the pad get another one and tap it around your arm (that's if you don't have any band aids that are big enough for the wound)!. after that is complete just keep pressure on it for a couple of minutes until the bleeding stops!. Don't get too tense just relax!. tape up the wound w/ the gauze pad still there and you'll be fine!. but if it's really deep i would recommend going to the Doctors and have them check it out for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
