Answers:
I think the problem could be any number of things from a ruptured bursa (fluid sack in the joint) to a torn ligament or tendon!. I would say ice it and take an anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofin or aspirin until you can get to an orthopedic doctor!. You should see a doctor because sometimes if you don't take care of these things right away you can develop a chronic problem, or suffer pain much longer than you otherwise would!. One time I did something to my knee and never went to the doctor until weeks and weeks later I got a hip problem on the other side and it turned out I should have gone to the orthopedic doctor for the knee and he would have put me on a cane to relieve the pressure!. So I wound up taking much longer to get better and then with a hip problem to boot!. So just go let a professional tell you what to do!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to your family physician and get it checked out!. That only takes a phone call and an appt and is cheaper than the ER and the wait is shorter!. Especially if you explain you are in pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
