Yes, it needs air!. Wounds heal better with air!. However, DO NOT GET IT WET IN THE SHOWER OR PUT SOAP ON IT!.
Do get you some antibiotic neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment!.
Once it gets healed well enough!. Maxoderm!. for scars and some Vitamin E oil!. Believe me this stuff really helps with facial scars!. I use it on both my boys!. Where one had to have brain surgery and the other because of a laceration to the face!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nooo, don't take it off or scratch it!. What you can actually do it lightly tap it with your finger or rub it a little!. That should relieve the itching without you having to take the bandage off or re-opening the wound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends what kind of wound!. If you have a scratch ya take if off!. If you have a deep wound or gash or have had stitches then no it is not ok for you to take it off because it is very likely it could become infected!Www@Answer-Health@Com
